Once you have an idea of what you’d like to do, start looking at accommodations that fit your budget and group size and consider transportation. A BRIEF HISTORY OF STAG DOS

Stag dos have been a staple in western culture for centuries, but some historians believe the tradition dated back to ancient Greece where soldiers would gather with the groom-to-be for a night of feasting and revelry before his wedding. Others believe the tradition started in the Middle Ages when it was customary for men to go on a hunt to catch a stag as a symbol of masculinity.

Whatever the origins may be, stag dos have become a popular way for men to celebrate the end of their bachelorhood with their friends.

We are based very close to the Surrey border making us easily accessible from London, Middlesex and Berkshire. Hounslow Heath is a great open space and the perfect location for outdoor stag dos near London.

A stag do is a tradition to celebrate the groom’s last days of singlehood with his closest friends. It’s a time to create some great memories that will last a lifetime!

At Gripped, we have a strict dress code to ensure your party’s safety during the activities.

  • Trainers with good grip
  • Comfortable, moveable clothing
  • We recommend thin, protective gloves
  • No jewellery

We embrace all weathers here at Gripped! We always recommend checking the weather forecast beforehand and packing suitable clothing for rain.

We welcome ambulant guests to experience the park with at least one helper. We ask that you provide advanced notice when booking so we can accommodate you the best that we can during your visit.

For non-ambulant guests, unfortunately, Gripped isn’t suitable.

Unfortunately, many of our activities don’t have a way back unless it’s an emergency. However, our team members are around the whole time to provide help if you need it!

Yes, car parking is available. It is operated by an independent company, and charged at £1 per hour, with 30 minutes free for dropping off. We have space for 600 vehicles, with coach parking and 35 electric car charging points.
