General information
All visitors of Gripped must wear suitable, comfortable active wear. We suggest an outfit of closed-toe flat shoes with a good grip, full length trousers, and a t-shirt. No jewellery, please!
Gloves are recommended for the high ropes course and zip trek - not heavy winter gloves, but suitable light gloves with protective grip/padding.
The minimum height restriction for most Gripped activities is 1.4m, with the exclusion of the Speed Slides and Power Fan which are 1.3m, and Net Park which has no minimum height.
The Net Park has a minimum age of 4, but children between the ages of 4 and 6 must be accompanied by a responsible adult on the Net Park at all times.
Accompanying adults: Under 15s will need a ticket-holding adult to participate with them on the Zip Trek and High Ropes, and a supervising adult present (no ticket needed) for the Speed Slides, Bag Jump and Power Fan. 1 adult can accompany up to 4 under 15s.
Yes, spectators are allowed to come along to watch and take pictures - simply buy a spectator pass! However, space is limited, and some aspects of the activities will not be visible from the waiting area.
Gripped is an outdoor adventure site, with limited cover if it rains. Please dress appropriately for the weather on the day, and be aware that there is limited cover available for outdoor dining should you wish to grab a bite while you're here.
Your Safety Comes First
At Gripped, your safety is our top priority. While our adventures run in a wide range of weather conditions, there may be rare occasions when extreme/specific weather makes it unsafe to proceed. In such cases, we may need to delay, adjust, or postpone your session to ensure everyone's safety and to comply with Health & Safety legislation.

Gripped has a convenient cabin which serves hot dogs, chips, and other food. If you'd like to bring your own food, we are an outdoor attraction, and picnics are welcome - however, please be aware that there are no designated picnic areas.
Yes, we have a car park that is operated by an independent company, charging £1 per hour of your stay. We offer space for over 600 vehicles, as well as 35 charging points for electric cars.
Gripped activities are weather permitting, and we will adjust our opening times to suit the season. Please check our opening times calendar for more information.
Ambulant disabled guests are very welcome, with at least 1 helper accompanying them. This helper must be a ticket-holding, participating guest.
Please provide advance notice when booking so we can accomodate you as best we can and ensure your visit is as safe and enjoyable as possible.
Unfortunately, Gripped is not suitable for non-ambulant guests. All guests must be able to walk unaided in order to experience the park.
While we recognise and respect the religious and cultural significance of certain headwear, participant safety remains our top priority. As a duty-holder, we are legally required to ensure protective helmets are worn at all times during activities.
Yes, you will be able to purchase access to the Net Park at a reduced rate if you have Hobbledown Heath Admission tickets. We only offer this discount for the Net Park.
The bag jumps are 3m, 4m, 5m and 6m high.
No; Hobbledown Heath and Gripped are currently separate attractions. We do not offer discounts for existing Hobbledown members.
Your tickets for Gripped do not give you access to Hobbledown. A separate Admission ticket will need to be purchased for Hobbledown if you would like to visit.
Discount codes are offered at certain times of the year and to guests who have already visited us. The terms and conditions of these codes will be stated in the accompanying email or website page.
We don’t allow pets. The only exception to this is assistance dogs.
We ask for assistance dogs to be leashed; if it is not possible to leash your assistance dog, please alert one of our team upon arrival so that we can better assist you during your visit experience.
Please be warned that the car park is very open and provides very little shade. Dogs die in hot cars, so please keep them safe by leaving your pets at home.
We understand that things can go wrong from time to time and do our very best to resolve matters fully on the day. If this hasn't gone to plan, please email us with your complaint to hounslowinfo@begripped.com FAO The Manager, within 12 weeks of your visit. Our management team will review your complaint and will be in touch within 7 days to resolve this for you.
For more complex complaints, we may need a little more time to fully investigate and resolve matters for you, we will endeavour to resolve promptly and will always keep you up to date.

Unfortunately, there are no options to buy socks on-site at Gripped. If you need socks, it's best to bring your own or purchase them before your visit.
It's a good idea to bring spare clothes, especially if you or your children are participating in activities that may get messy or wet. While Gripped does not provide spare clothes, having an extra set on hand can ensure a more comfortable experience.
Gripped is located within the ULEZ (Ultra Low Emission Zone). If you're planning to visit, it's important to check if your vehicle meets the ULEZ standards to avoid any charges.

We don't currently offer work experience at Gripped.
Yes, adults are welcome to visit Gripped! There are plenty of activities and experiences available for adults to enjoy. Just remember to pre-book your tickets online if you're planning to visit.
For safety reasons, children under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult while at Gripped.

No - Gripped does not accept cash payments on-site. All transactions must be made using card payments excluding AMEX. It's a good idea to ensure you have a card ready for any purchases, whether for food, drinks, or souvenirs.

We don't have any indoor seating, Gripped is an outdoor attraction.
Gripped has qualified first aiders on-site to assist with any medical needs. There are first aid boxes located around the site for easy access. If you require first aid assistance during your visit, please approach a member of the team, and they will be happy to help you.

Gripped is an outdoor activity park that offers a variety of adrenaline-pumping activities, perfect for groups looking to have fun and create memorable experiences. It's particularly popular for stag parties, college trips, and team-building events. Located near Gripped, close to the Surrey border, Gripped features high ropes, drop slides, and other exciting challenges. Gripped London covers 120 acres of countryside, located in Hounslow, near Heathrow Airport.
Within this area, the park features various attractions, such as a 650-meter long high ropes course with a highest platform of 7.5 meters. There are also other activities like the Net Park, with a bounce surface of 150m² and the highest net at 6.4 meters.
When you book a session for the Net Park at Gripped, you get 30 minutes of bounce time. It's a fun and exciting experience, but make sure to wear suitable closed-toe footwear, as flip-flops, sandals, and high heels are not permitted.
The net park opens 12.00-4.00pm on selected peak days. The net park can be booked along side your day tickets or if you are already at Gripped please speak to a member of the reception team.

We have declared Gripped a smoke-free attraction, including vaping. This rule applies to all indoor and outdoor areas on the premises. Please respect this decision and the children around you.

If you are lucky enough to live near Gripped, why not come by bike? It's environmentally friendly, and you can use one of the many local cycle routes to help you get here. We even have a special place to put your bikes - but please don’t forget to bring your own padlock!
If it rains the Bag jumps & drop slide will close. If there is Thunder and Lightening all activities will close until 30 mins after last thunder/lightning. If there are Strong Winds at 15mph - Bag jump closes or at 30mph - Power fan closes, 40mph - All other activities close
Yes we do accept the national carers card. Disabled guests at Gripped are required to pay the full entry rates for their tickets. However, they are eligible to bring a free carer over the age of 18. This ticket will be provided for you at the entrance once the team have checked the necessary paperwork. This could be any of the following: Evidence of DLA/PIP payments, Access Card, a National Disability Card or Carers Card, or a valid Blue Badge dated within the last 12 months.
Unfortunately, Gripped does not offer discounts for individuals claiming benefits such as Universal Credit or ESA.

You are welcome to bring a pushchair or pram to Gripped. However, we recommend using one with larger wheels, as the paths are rustic and may not be suitable for pushchair or prams with smaller wheels. Please note that there is no storage available for pushchairs/prams at the venue and we do not offer rentals.
If you hold a ticket for Gripped, you may return to your car and re-enter the park on the same day, as long as you have your ticket with you.
You need to arrival at the time slot you have booked at and then depending on how many activities you have booked will depend on how long your stay at Gripped will be.
There are no discounts on day tickets for childminders; however, we offer a range of admission tickets and annual passes that provide excellent value for money.
Yes, it is advisable to pre-book your tickets to avoid disappointment, as Gripped can get quite busy. Pre-booking ensures you have your spot secured.
Tickets are non-refundable, but the date of your visit can be changed prior to the date of your visit. If you cannot make your original choice, Create an account, using the email address you purchased the original ticket with, log into your account on our website to make any changes. Please note that any booking changes will incur an administration fee of £10.
If you are an annual pass holder please login into your account online to cancel your booking.
There are no discounts on day tickets for local customers; however, we offer a range of admission tickets and annual passes that provide excellent value for money.
Gripped has limited capacity each day and we keep the number of guests to a level that we can manage and we feel gives the best experience to our guests. If the tickets are fully booked for your desired date, we recommend checking for alternative dates or times that may have availability. You can also keep an eye on the website for any updates or cancellations.
Gripped does not offer a rainy day guarantee. If there are any closures due to bad weather, the team on site will try to accommodate you where possible.
If you are running late for your general admission time slot please note that you may not be able to complete all the activities within your booking. Please try to arrive as close as possible to your booking arrival time.
Like many other firms in our industry we must contend with rising costs which include our booking transaction costs too. We cannot continue absorbing these fees and so we have a £2.00 booking fee per transaction which will help recoup some of the fees we are charged. All guests still benefit from a discount off General Admission if booking online in advance.

High Ropes: Between 1 hour and 3 hours, depending on the participant's fitness and confidence levels.

Lockers are available in both cabins. Guests need to bring or purchase a lock as we don't sell these.
Food & Drink
Alcohol is not permitted to be brought onto the site. However, there may be designated areas where alcohol is available for purchase at certain events.
We have lots of outdoor seating and picnics are encouraged for outdoor consumption only. Bins are situated around the park for ease. Only food purchased at our restaurant can be consumed in our indoor areas.

Parties Gripped
On arrival you can hand your cake and candles over to the party team and they will place it in our party prep area until the cake is needed.
When sending your guest the digital invitations it will allow them to RSVP and declare any dietary requirement for the guest before the party day. Please complete the guest list no later than 5 days prior to the party so that our Gripped team can prepare your party feast.
You can create and manage your guest list online when you set up your party account. This allows you to easily send digital invitations and keep track of RSVPs.
Should you be unable to add your guest list, please send an email with your party reference, with the children's name along with allergies to hounslowinfo@begripped.com
Please bring along your own wax candles, please note that sparklers/fountain candles are not permitted at Gripped.

If you are having a birthday party, we aim to accommodate guest allergies. All children attending the party are to be included in the number of guests. This includes the birthday child.
Once a party is booked it is non refundable but should you need to reschedule the party we would be more than happy to do that for you. If you don't have a date in mind then we can postpone this for you. Please visit our website to view our cancellation policy.
At Gripped, every party will be assigned a party server to assist with the party, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. The server will help with setting up the party area, serving food and attending to the needs of the guests during the event. They play a crucial role in making sure that both the children and adults have an enjoyable experience.
At Gripped, once your party finishes it's important for the you to ensure that all children are picked up by their adults. The party host should communicate with parents or guardians about the pick-up time and location.
Gripped parties lasts for 3-3.5 hours
Please arrive 15 mins before your party start time for waiver checking.
The minimum age for the Gripped Explorer parties is 8 years old and the minimum age for the High Ropes parties is 12 years old and need to be at least 1.4m

Schools Gripped
200 is the biggest school group we can accommodate. There is a minimum number for bookings depending on year group. Year 6 is a minimum of 40 children & Year 7 + is a minimum of 30 children.

Our school trips last from 10am - 2pm. That's plenty of time for you to pack some adrenaline-filled fun in!
Yes - souvenirs can be purchased. Our kiosk is not big, so we ask that you visit in small groups, and that all children are supervised.
We are not unreasonable people, so if there is a genuine issue we will do our very best to accommodate any changes.
If you have a pre booked trip to Gripped, coaches can drop off and pick up from the drop off point that is situated on the right hand side once you have driven in to the car park.
For Year 6, 7 and 8 it is 1 adult to every 8 children.
For Year 9, 10, 11 and 12 it is 1 adult to every 10 children.

Admissions and Tickets Gripped
You cannot book a carer ticket online. Please book a general admission ticket online for the person who requires a carer and the carer will be admitted for free at the gate when proof of disability is produced. Evidence of DLA/PIP payments, award letter or a valid Blue Badge dated within the last 12 months must be provided at the entrance to our team to qualify for the free carer. If evidence can't be supplied then a full price ticket will need to be purchased.

Evidence of either the Access Card, DLA/PIP payments or a valid Blue Badge dated within the last 12 months must be provided at the entrance to our team to qualify for the free carer ticket. You can purchase tickets on our website for everyone but the carer who will have their free ticket issued on the day.
We offer a general admission discount for groups! If you are booking general admission for 10 or more paying guests, you can receive a delightful 20% off. Please note that this offer cannot be combined with any other discounts or promotions.
Day tickets do not require an account to purchase. You can buy them directly through the website or at the entrance. However, if you are looking to upgrade from a day ticket to one of our Annual passes or manage your bookings, you will need to create an account. You can register for an online account on our website. Please note that you will need to register with the same email address that you made the original booking for your day tickets.
We don't currently offer a Family Ticket at Gripped.
General admission tickets can be more expensive if purchased on the day of your visit. To avoid disappointment and potentially higher prices, it's advisable to pre-book your tickets online. This way, you can secure your entry at the standard rate.
Day Tickets are non-refundable, but the date of your visit can be changed so long as your original visit date has not yet passed. To change your visit date, Create an account on our website, using the email address you purchased the original ticket with, log into your account on our website to make any changes.

As an annual pass holder all your visits to Hobbledown need to be pre-booked, To pre-book tickets you will need to have set up an account through our website. Click the login button and follow the instructions for setting up a new account. You will need your unique customer number to be able to do this. This number will be on the email correspondence confirming the purchase of your Annual pass. Once you have logged in highlight the names of the pass holder that you would like to visit and when the names turn green click "book now". Annual pass holders can also add paying guests on this page.

If you have purchased a third-party voucher, we kindly ask that you check the voucher for the T & C's along with details of how to redeem the voucher. Should you still require further assistance we advise you to go back to the company you have purchased the voucher from.
If you have purchased a Gripped or Escapade gift voucher directly from Gripped, this gift voucher can be used as part or full payment at the time of checked out. At the time of check out please copy and paste the whole voucher code in to the gift voucher box. Annual Passes Gripped
We are big supporters of the emergency services! Any holders of a valid Blue Light Card should log on to their Blue Light card account for the latest offers.
Each person visiting Gripped will need their own Annual Pass, annual passes are non transferable.
To book your visit using your annual pass, you will need to be log in to your account on the Gripped website. Once logged in, you can follow the instructions to book your tickets for your visit.

We do not offer a direct debit membership option at Gripped.
Disabled visitors pay the full entry rates and are required to purchase an adult or child annual pass. Those applicable are eligible to bring a free carer over the age of 18 years. A Carer's pass can then be given if applicable, so that proof does not have to be shown on each visit.
Every one coming to Gripped will need their own individual Annual pass. All pass holders are required to upload their photo before you will be able to book tickets.

As an Annual pass holder you can cancel or reschedule your ticket by logging in to your account.

We don't have a specific annual passes for Childminders. You would have to purchase an annual pass for each individual child under your care.
You cannot use a Heath specific membership at Gripped. However we now offer a new multi-attraction membership. Find out more about the new Escapade membership here.
Car Park Gripped

Car parking is available on-site and is managed by a third party company. Pay stations are accessible within the car park. Alternatively, the first 30 minutes for drop off and pick ups are free of charge. Parking costs £1 per hour thereafter and payable by card only. There are no concessions for disabled parking but we do have a limited number of disabled parking spaces. Please see individual machines for more details. We also have limited electric car charging bays. For parking charges enquiries please email help@avalonparking.com
If you forget to pay for your parking, don't worry! You can register and pay up to 24 hours after your visit to pay for your parking by visiting avalonpay.net/1259. For anything beyond this time, should you receive a parking fine please email help@avalonparking.com
No; at Gripped we do have designated disabled bays for accessibility. These parking bays are chargeable at the usual rate of £1 per hour.
Facilities & Accessibility Gripped
Unfortunately, wheelchair hire is not available at the venue. If you require a wheelchair, it's best to bring your own. Additionally, if you have any specific accessibility needs or questions, I recommend contacting the venue prior to your visit to discuss any reasonable adjustments that can be made.
