How to Plan a Kids Party at Gripped

30 August 2022

Throwing a party at Gripped should be at the top of every child’s bucket list! It’s unique, exciting and, thanks to our activity bundles, super affordable. Here are our top tips on planning your kid’s party at Gripped...

1. Set a Budget

Whether you’re paying for every kid or not, setting a budget that’s affordable for you and other parents is always a good place to start. Our three hour pass is great for those looking to come for a half day, but with the full day pass, you're really getting your money's worth - a full day packed with activities for a fantastic price.

2. Limit Numbers

When it comes to invitees, less may be more. Having to look after a large group of kids can be overwhelming for you and the party child, so make sure to invite just a few of their closest friends to ensure maximum fun and minimal stress.

3. Seek Help

If hosting kids’ parties and activities isn’t your thing, enlist the help of another adult to help you plan and supervise. Our staff are also on hand to ensure everyone takes part in the activities safely and securely! See our rules on the adult/child ratio at Gripped if you're wondering how many adults to bring along per child.

4. Plan Ahead

Make sure you check out all our activities - which all have their own cool pages with teaser videos as well as rules and need-to-know info - as well as our two ticket types, before your visit.

THE ADULT/CHILD RATIO FOR YOUR PARTY

To make sure all our guests are safe, we have rules in place for our youngest guests - those between the ages of 7-14. All activities either require an accompanying or supervising adult for these guests. Here's what that means...

ACCOMPANYING ADULTS

WHAT IS AN ACCOMPANYING ADULT?

An accompanying adult is required only for participants aged 7-14.  The accompanying adult is a ticket-holding adult who must participate on the activity with them. 1 adult can accompany up to 4 individuals.

ACTIVITIES WHICH REQUIRE ACCOMPANYING ADULTS:

SUPERVISING ADULTS

WHAT IS A SUPERVISING ADULT?

Participants aged 7-14 require an adult to supervise them whilst on the activity. A supervising adult does not require a ticket unless they also wish to participate. 1 adult can supervise up to 12 children on the power fan and bag jumps, or up to 24 children on the speed slides.

ACTIVITIES WHICH REQUIRE SUPERVISING ADULTS:

THE NET PARK

Since the net park is suited for younger kids, the rules for supervision are a little different! The minimum age to go on the net park is 4, but younger guests (between 4 and 6) must be accompanied by an adult while on the net park. This adult does not need to buy an extra ticket – each ticket-holding participant aged 4-6 gets their own accompanying adult free of charge.
